Battle of Midway

Erik's great-grandpa gave him a military calendar so now he always lets us know when it's the anniversary of some battle.  Today is the anniversary of the Battle of Midway.  He asked me to come outside with him and when I did he started dragging me to the house of our neighbor who served in Iraq.  I said Mr. J was at work, but Erik could make him a card.  He went on the computer and found a photo of a ship from the battle and a quote about the battle.  He printed the picture and wrote the quote on the paper, wished Mr. J. a Happy Anniversary of the Battle of Midway and signed it.  We walked over and he gave it to Mrs. J to give Mr. J when he got home.  So sweet.
