Taking turns

I'm not sure why I start a new post for each separate thing, but oh well.

So we were out in the backyard this afternoon, and Adin was interested in the little slide. That, of course, meant that suddenly Erik was also interested in it. So they took turns on the slide. Erik prolonged his turns by sitting at the bottom and top of the slide as long as possible. When Adin was done with his turns, I had to lift him out of the way so he didn't get hit by Erik sliding down. Adin would wriggle and fight to get back down so he could take another turn.

Finally, I hit upon the idea of having Adin walk around to the back of the slide and wait back there for his turn. He reacted by pushing Erik down the slide! Luckily, Erik found this hilarious and wanted Adin to do it over and over again.
