Today, Erik went down for a nap at 1:30, Adin at 2:00. Adin woke at 3:00, Erik at 3:45. When Adin and I heard Erik wake up and cry (his usual response to waking up from a nap), Adin's head just snapped up, he slid off my lap and crawled like lightning to Erik's room. The whole time he's calling to Erik. He crawls to Erik's bed and starts petting Erik, putting his head down on Erik, squealing with joy, just doing everything he possibly could to show Erik love.
Erik was not yet ready to receive love, so I took Adin out of the room. Oh, how he protested. If I set him down, he just crawled back. I brought him in the bathroom (one of his favorite places) and he crawled out. I brought him back in and shut the door. Adin banged on the door, cried and called out to Erik. I relented and let him crawl back to Erik's bed.
Fortunately, by this time, Erik was ready to receive the love. He laughed every time Adin patted him.

What a wonderful story! I can definitely picture it. And I liked Erik's story about the pigs and wolves too. It's nice when everyone ends up nice and happy, isn't it??
