First Communion

On Thursday, Adin had instruction in Holy Communion. He's a little young, but our congregation allows children of any age (and any adults who want) to receive communion. Erik started after he turned five last year, so Adin became interested, too. It was so sweet, during his First Communion, Erik was standing on my right and Adin on my left. We each took a cup and waited for the server to come around with the bread. Erik showed Adin how to hold his hand out to receive the bread, and which hand he should use to hold the cup.
